<p>For our client in France, Strasbourg, we are looking for a determined, experienced and commercial Manager of Business Development, who will be responsbile for the optimalisation of the hotel revenue through effective yield management. </p> <p>Job description<br /> - To support the overall strategic management of the hotel by establishing effective working relationships with senior Team Members.<br /> - To research, produce, gain agreement to, implement and monitor the annual Revenue Proposal / Plan throughout the year, updating as necessary.<br /> - To ensure that all revenue related systems are kept up to date with accurate information and all hotel standards are complied with entirely.<br /> - To implement and maintain selling procedures in rooms, conference &amp; banqueting sales, food &amp; beverage outlets and the other departments.<br /> - To monitor, against agreed targets the performance of key accounts in conjunction with sales, reservations, and the General Manager; and to participate actively in the ongoing management of key accounts.<br /> - To maximise outbound sales from existing and potential hotel accounts.<br /> - To set clear objectives for the Business Development team and develop individuals´ skills and performance to the highest possible level through detailed performance reviews, coaching and training.<br /> - To be responsible for all marketing activity in the hotel.<br /> - To maintain effective working relationships with regional sales, marketing a and revenue management functions to add value to the hotel´s commercial performance.<br /> - To convert all the hotel´s revenue into collected cash within the shortest, agreed timescale through managing the credit control function in a diligent and professional way.</p> <p>Job criteria<br /> - Hospitality Degree (Bachelor/specialisation in revenue or Master is a pré).<br /> - Minimum of 5 years management experience in the international hotel industry (Revenue / Sales).<br /> - A measurable and proven track record to date within a strategic Business Development environment is essential.<br /> - Excellent knowledge of the English language, well spoken and written French and preferably a third (European) language.<br /> - A people manager with persistence and strong leadership skills.<br /> - Result oriented strategist with excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate it to others. </p> <p>Conditions<br /> - Indication of salary circa € 35.000 ࡠ€ 40.000 gross per year, depending on background.<br /> - Health insurance and welfare scheme.<br /> - Bonus on results and Profit sharing scheme.</p><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Travail-emploi/~4/285482157" height="1" width="1"/>
