Head of Field Development Optimization Dukhan Field (UK525413) Plans, coordinates, directs and participates in the conduct of technical activity to complete a comprehensive integrated characterization for reservoir simulation and performance forecasting of the giant Dukhan carbonate reservoirs. Formulates strategies and implements such plans to achieve optimum development of resources. Works closely with other Team Heads reporting to Assistant Manager, Dukhan Development to ensure updating and incorporation of relevant data into full-field and sector numerical reservoir simulations. Secures resources to implement state of the art technology for Eclipse numerical reservoir simulation. Drives efforts to complete the systematic SCAL and fluid models updating/ upgrading projects. Prefer 16+ years experience in reservoir engineering activities with 5 years spent in an activity/team leadership. Experienced in working on large carbonate reservoirs with significant experience working on mature oil fields under water injection. Experience in reserves evaluation, classification and booking. Minimum of BSc in Petroleum Engineering, Chem Eng or Mech Eng is required. Knowledge of PVT, SCAL, petrophysical rock properties, volumetric assessments and risk assessment. Must have EOR experience using miscible/immiscible gas injection and CO2 injection. Must be able to provide IOR/EOR reservoir engineering technical guidance. Experience in numerical reservoir simulation in use of Eclipse 100 and 300 in particular, history matching and field development. Head of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) FD (UK525414) Plans, coordinates and directs the EOR group of the MM & BH Development Division for the QP operated Maydan Mahzam and Bul Hanine oil development projects. The Head is responsible for the development of an appropriate EOR strategy that will maximize ultimate HC recovery from BH & MM reservoirs. Responsible for screening potential EOR processes for these mature giant carbonate reservoirs, and for preparing and stewarding the section work programme and budget. Also provides long-term production forecasts for potential EOR process as part of the corporationâ€™s business plan. Works closely with other Heads and managers to recommend and implement Pilot Tests of appropriate EOR processes, prior to full field implementation. Leads an integrated team of 5 experienced geologists and engineers. Prefer 20+ years experience in reservoir engineering activity emphasizing large/giant carbonate reservoirs with at least 10 years of hands on experience spent in EOR activity. Masterâ€™s degree (M.S.) or Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering or related subjects with appropriate levels of experience. B.S. degree with demonstrated technical capabilities also acceptable. Must be knowledgeable and experienced with at least one of the following EOR processes: Chemical processes for waterflood enhancement (i.e. polymer and/or surfactant flooding), and/or miscible and immiscible gas injection processes.
