QP is undertaking integrated full field studies of all its major oil reservoirs. Production Geologists (UK525383) Prefer 10+ years work experience as Production Geologist. Must have undertaken field and reservoir studies and worked closely with geophysicists, petrophysicists and reservoir engineers. Must have worked on mature producing fields where the integration of production data has been used to constrain their maps and interpretations. Experience in the application of sequence stratigraphic concepts and methods. Able to utilize geophysical, petrophysical and sedimentological studies in order to create, establish and update geological models, to aid in the development of reservoir models. You will have an in-depth knowledge of seismic stratigraphy. BSc Geology, with a Masters or PhD preferred. Senior Exploration Geologists (UK525387) QP is also looking for Senior Exploration Geologists with a minimum of 15 years experience in exploration and appraisal geology.Primary responsibilities will be to monitor, control and supervise the geological and geophysical activities of PSA companies working in Qatar. To coordinate and control geological, geophysical & petrophysical data collection for oil & gas wells of all hydrocarbon resources for PSA operated oil fields. To analyze and evaluate these data and to establish most suitable geological models for utilization in simulation. To carry out independent studies and to review and assess geological and geophysical studies, models and reports carried out by companies. To monitor drilling activities. Senior Production Geophysicists (UK525409) Prefer 10+ years work experience as Production Geophysicist. Must have undertaken field and reservoir studies and be able to integrate geologic, well, and geophysical data. Must have worked on mature producing fields and have carbonate reservoir experience. Must have experience in geophysical risk analysis for proposed well locations. Must be highly knowledgeable in technical aspects of surface seismic acquisition and processing, both 3D and VSP. Working knowledge of seismic attribute analysis to model rock properties, sedimentary faces and depositional architecture. Desirable to have working knowledge of fault and fracture detection, and to have worked with geologic modelers to incorporate interpretations into 3D geologic models. General understanding of the major elements of reservoir engineering, like the interpretation of well tests and tracer data. Minimum of a BSc in Geology or Geophysics is required. All disciplines will have the opportunity to work with diverse teams to develop these studies, giving you the opportunity to experience inter-disciplinary reservoir study teams. Minimum academic requirement is a BSc in an appropriate Geoscience subject with a solid understanding of Schlumbergerâ€™s and other petrophysical, geological, and geophysical applications.
