As purchaser you will be responsible for the purchasing of raw materials, elaborate or semi-elaborate products, and services necessary to the production.

You will also have the following responsibilities:

- specify the needs of the internal services (general production, administration, data processing, services, etc...)
- prospect the market, assess the capacity of the suppliers to answer the budgets, delay, quality and quantity requirements.
- negotiate the best conditions to reach the technical and commercial objectives.
- draw up the purchase contracts by taking all the necessary technical, economic and legal guarantees.
- follow the execution of the contracts and manage the litigations.
- bring up to date a suppliers and products database
- take part in the evolution of the Quality Assurance System
With a higher education, you have a first proven track record in a Purchasing position. The knowledge of the related sector/industry will be considered as a really strong asset. Autonomous, you take easily initiatives and are able to evaluate the risks and the decisions concerning the choice of suppliers and subcontractors.
With strong communication skills, you establish and maintain good internal and external relations. Moreover you can argue, influence and convince to conclude the negotiations with the suppliers and the internal key opinion leaders.
You feel convenient with data-processing tools. You are fluent in Dutch. A good knowledge in French and in English is also necessary.
