EUROPEAN ENVIRONMENTAL ENERGY MANAGER
Your role is to lead the strategy and the actions across European Union Group (EUG) on Environment specifically in the areas of Energy Efficiency and Green House Gas emission with a view on reducing the beverage carbon footprint:
1. Drive and implement change in the energy strategy in a cost efficient way to reduce green house gas emissions as a response to public concerns on climate change.
- Identify key areas of concern and provide technical measures for risk areas identified by Corporate Responsibility Director - Environment.
- Develop an actionable "energy" strategy .
- Develop plan to execute the strategy in the bottling network.
- Define key measures and metrics to track success.
- Ensure that commitments are made and accordingly delivered.
2. Identify, lead and manage key projects at EU Group level in close collaboration with global and local business units. These projects have a primary focus on energy efficiency, energy generation, introduction of new concepts (eg. Renewable Energy Certificates), Green House Gas impact of supply chain on "European" planet and broader concepts of resource management
3. Influence, lead and manage all the bottlers activities regarding energy management.
4. Provide expertise and advice in the management of energy programs and be the centre of excellence.
You have a relevant masters degree in engineering or equivalent by experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience and expertise in energy efficiency, energy reduction and green house gas emissions. Exposure to a production and distribution environment or change management is a major asset.
You have excellent interpersonal skills, that's essential in your mission: knowing how to influence people in a diplomatic but clear way; a good commercial sensitivity for various personalities; ability to translate knowledge in clear understandable language.
You are able to develop and inspire people with arguments, ideas, vision. You are result oriented, creative and you can bring new ideas and vision. You're good at planning, prioritization, strategic thinking. You are adaptable to a highly dynamic, changing environment.
You are fluent in English. Knowledge of any other European language is a valuable asset.
You will be traveling 30-50% of your time in Europe.
