<p>The Plant Business is the provider of integrated power solutions for turnkey plants, from engineering to procurement & construction, and for the global power market. With over 2700 employees in 14 countries, and execution, front and project offices and hubs distributed worldwide, the Plant Business has installed over 300 turnkey power plants projects in the past 35 years. Today more than 20 projects are under construction in key power markets worldwide, totalling over 15 000 MW. The Finance & Control function within the Plant Business is currently looking to recruit a : Business Unit Controller (m/f) Reporting to the Head of Unit Controlling France, you will be part of a global Controlling team, dealing with local and international partners. You will be responsible for assuring accurate and reliable financial information under IFRS and French GAAP, achieving reporting deadlines, and allow a clear understanding of financial information to your management, the Business and Corporate in connection with our Shared Service Centre in Paris. You will support in coordinating and improving processes between our Project Controller community, Shared Service and Corporate. In this role you will participate in the preparation of the monthly closing and reporting on Actuals, forecasts and the yearly Budget cycle. You will ensure that all information reported is validated, coherent and reconciled with other ALSTOM entities in case. In addition to your higher degree in economics, finance or business administration you have had experience in financial management and accounting, for both standards, IFRS and French GAAP. Ideally, you will have minimum 5 years work experience and worked in Audit or in a Controlling department with exposure to both balance sheet and P&L issues. You are easy to approach and adapt your communication style towards different stakeholders within a complex and international environment, both horizontally and vertically. In problem-solving situations you maintain a flexible, open-minded and solution-oriented business style. You are fluent in English and French, with another language being an asset. Your professionalism, dedication and motivation will be the drivers for your role and open your path to progress and further opportunities in the Unit or in Alstom.
